If your  SASSA status says approved but no payday for the R35o grant, there are various reasons for this.

This may be because you have not yet selected your preferred post office to receive your grant, Only after you select your post office, you will subsequently receive your SMS to indicate when you can collect your grant. Remember you can also chose to receive your grant at Pick n Pay and Boxer stores. However you need to wait for the SMS to indicate the date when you can collect whether at Post Office or Boxer Stores.

Another reason could be SASSA is still processing your application and you should exercise patience as you will receive your SMS soon.

If you prefer to receive your grant into your bank account, submit your banking details . Make sure the bank you submit is in your name as SASSA will not pay into a bank account in somebody’s name.
