  • Mobile Phone Number: If you prefer the money transfer option through a major bank, make sure the mobile phone number that received the SMS is registered in your name. SASSA is unable to deposit the grant into a mobile number registered to another person.
  • Future Payments: Keep in mind that the updated banking details will be used for future payments after verification.
