How to cancel SASSA relief grant application. You can cancel your Application if your conditions changed so that you no longer need or qualify for the special Covid-19 Social Relief of Distress Grant. An example is if you have recetlly been employed therefore no longer qualify for the relief.

To cancel, follow the following procedure:
Cancelling is done on the SASSA SRD portal. Visit the SASSA website at https://srd.sassa.gov.za
- Click on the Cancel my Application Tab: Click here to cancel online
- Provide your ID number and your Mobile number.
- Click send pin.
- You will receive an SMS with a 6-digit one time pin (OTP).
- Insert the 6- digit OTP and click verify pin.
- Click cancel my grant
- You will be asked if you are sure about cancelling your grant
- Click Yes
